"You tricked me—"
"Why would I trick you, when you can see it for yourself?"

"I'm really sorry... I truly believed it was the best for us."

"...You won't listen to me."

"Duh, that's your choice idiot!"

"So, you noticed. Be more careful next time."

"For you, what do you believe is the most precious thing in this world?"

"My family and friends."

"A world of peace and well-being."

"Freedom."

"I have nothing to lose. So, nothing."

"Power and common sense."

"What do you think about great power? Would you call it a blessing, or a curse?"

"If you understand the true meaning of 'power', it's a curse with a blessing. You could reach a point where you're thirsty for power even more than what you already have."

"It means being able to protect more lives. When it's used to stand against evil, then it becomes a blessing.
"It's like... having freedom. And to me, I see it as a blessing!"
"Tch, of course it's a curse. The more I use it, the stronger this sh*t gets. But also brings me closer to death."
"If it's not mine, then it's a curse."
"What is your biggest fear that you never told anyone?"

"If you had to sacrifice the most precious thing you have for your greater purpose, would you do it?"

In moment of pain or vulnerability, here's what they'd say.
"I mess up everything I do... don't I?"
"I know you don't like talking about it, but please, don't carry it all by yourself."

"I don't live to face fear. But losing someone important... is the deepest despair."

"I'm willing to sacrifice my life for everyone's safety."

"If the world falls apart... if there's no more peace between lands and only conflict remains—then that would be the most terrifying thing I could imagine."

"I... I'm scared to go home. I miss Verdaleth, but it feels like going back would kill me."

"Yeah sure. But that would mean I'm telling you, right? Bleh, nice try!"

"I'm afraid of you knowing what I fear."

(with a faint smile) "I appreciate it. I'm alright, just a little bit annoyed."

"I'd find a way that doesn't mean sacrificing something that still matters. Everything has its worth, and none of it deserves to be thrown away, not even for the greater good."

"What matters most... for my purpose, huh... I want to be myself and have the freedom to choose what I want. Does that mean I have to give up my own identity?"

"Of course. Big cause, big loss. Sounds dead fun!"

"I want her to come back. Whatever the cost, so be it. As long as she stops thinking I ever hated her."

"Heh. You made a mistake. Don't act like it defines everything. Understood?"

(with a charming smile) "I'll let you know okay? But really, I'm fine right now."

(starts to cry) "I... I hate crying like this..! Don't try to make me... sniff..." (she begins to open up.)

"Ugh, please—I'm not keeping it to myself. That's what my closet's for, duh!" (puts her hands on hips & rolls her eyes.)

(walks away)

"You don't need to say anything. I'm here with you."

(lets out a gentle sigh and smiles as he sits beside them) "You know? I once made a stupid mistake. I broke the royal sacred vase. I was so scared I'd get scolded, but turns out... there's something else behind my mistake. My father had been searching for a lost item for years, and it was hidden in that vase all along."

"It's not true! Yeah, maybe you messed up this time, but don't go saying stuff like that!"

"Ughhh for The Light's sake—why are you—you know what? Everyone makes mistakes. Not everything's always wrong, and not everything's always right. Got it?!"

"If that's what you believe, then that's your truth. How pathetic, thinking everything you do is wrong." (cold, dismissive glare)

"You know, you deserve so much more."

"Whether you mean to or not, you always end up hurting me..."

"Why do you care so much?
